You should contact Adult Social Care at Cumbria County Council if you want to move into either:
- A residential care home,
- A nursing home or
- Extra care Housing
- Or if you need more support to manage living in your own home.

Social Housing in Copeland
All independent social housing in Copeland is owned by Housing Associations. If you want to apply for a housing association property you need to register for the Cumbria Choice scheme. The Cumbria Choice scheme is a Choice-Based Lettings scheme. This means that once you have registered you need to look at the list of properties that are available and apply (or bid) for any properties that you think would be suitable for you.
